1. Provider identification

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using the Refugio San Bernardo website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Description of the service

Refugio San Bernardo is a mountain lodge in Vallecitos, Cordón del Plata (Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza), offering accommodation, online booking and mountain travel information.

4. Bookings and payments

• Bookings are subject to availability.
• A deposit is required to confirm a booking.
• Prices are in Argentine pesos and include applicable taxes.
• Prices may vary by season and availability.
• Accepted payment methods are stated at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before check-in to receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may incur charges.

This policy is disclosed to you before you confirm a booking and is separate from the right of withdrawal described below.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under section 34 of Argentine Consumer Protection Act 24.240 and Resolution 424/2020, you may withdraw from a distance contract within ten (10) calendar days of entering into it, at no cost and without stating a reason.

To exercise it, use the Withdrawal Button available on this site or any of our contact channels. Refunds are issued through the same payment method used.

7. Guest responsibilities

• Respect the lodge rules and other guests.
• Take care of the facilities and equipment.
• Follow mountain safety guidance.
• Report any problem or damage immediately.
• Register at the ranger station when entering Cordón del Plata Provincial Park.

8. Mountain safety and limitation of liability

High-mountain activity carries inherent risks (altitude, weather, terrain). Guests are responsible for assessing their own physical and technical fitness and for following safety guidance.

The lodge is not liable for loss, damage or injury occurring during the stay or during mountain activities, except in cases of demonstrable negligence on our part.

9. Use of the website

• Do not use the site for unlawful activities.
• Do not attempt to access restricted areas of the system.
• Provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• Keep your access credentials confidential.

10. Google authentication

By using “Sign in with Google”, you accept Google’s terms of service and authorise the sharing of the basic profile information needed to create and manage your account.

11. Consumer protection

For any complaint you may contact us directly. You may also file a claim with the competent authority through Argentina’s federal consumer protection single window.

12. Changes

We may amend these terms. Changes take effect upon publication on this site; the last-updated date is shown at the foot of this page.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Province of Mendoza.
